From Emmy award-winning filmmaker Jared Flesher, "The Syrup Maker" is the unforgettable portrait of a New Jersey maple syrup farmer. On a cold winter’s day in the sugar house, Charlize Katzenbach slowly brings maple sap to a boil. As she minds the fire, she weaves the story of an extraordinary life defined by physical labor, artistic pursuit, and changes of season.
